It'll be interesting seeing how this works with BT especially - a mixture of premium add-on, and inclusive.

Yeah, I'm not sure how it works.

Will it only be available to those who pay separately for them?
I'm not sure how it will work for those on VIP or XL TV packages

I'm on the Ultimate Oomph package and have been credited £36.25 for Sky and BT Sports from 23rd March.

Do you have to apply for the BT Sports credit separately? My 'Oomph' is only showing a credit for Sky Sports

You could choose either or both from the relevant page, although I’m sure I read somewhere that it originally only gave the option of pausing Sky Sports and was subsequently updated to include both:

Yep - originally it was only for Sky. BT was added as an option later.

It should show in my Virgin Media charges by your bill charges since 9th Mar 2020 a credit which then reduces ones next bill when that one gets sent out..

newapollo Do you have a discount on the oomph bundle? If so, have you lost it?

I have a pretty big discount and was wondering whether I would still get it.

Digital Spy Forum is reporting Sky have now moved Sky Documentaries HD and Sky Nature HD launch dates from April 7th to the new rumour date of May 27th.

When relaunch their Documentaries Channels it will be as followed:

-Sky Dcoumentaries (SD and HD) may launch on Virgin Media UK (Media Boy HQ thinks it testing on Virgin Media UK right now under "Channel A" or "Channel B".)

-Sky Nature (SD and HD) may launch on Virgin Media UK (Media Boy HQ thinks it testing on Virgin Media UK right now under "Channel A" or "Channel B".)

-HISTORY HD will become known as Sky History HD.

-HISTORY +1 will become known as Sky History +1.

-HISTORY 2 HD will become known as Sky History 2 HD.

Take care and stay safe everyone.

I see hayu is being advertised as a subscription channel add on via Amazon Prime, so it will be still available on Virgin TV.
If I could subscribe to hayu via NowTV or Prime, but still be able to log in to each app I would. As I understand, I have to pay NowTV AND Prime to view on each service?

Such as Shudder, has a Roku app and an add on channel via Prime, I couldn't view the app without subscribing again.

I took out my Oomph package on 28th June last year. It was, and still is discounted to £99.99. The charges for pausing Sky & BT Sports are credit adjustments on the account, not further discounts.

According to staff on the VM Community Forums

It doesn't affect any minimum or contractual terms regardless of which package
