Yes i can see this being a good thing for the PC market. :)

Hi 50-55 pounds seems to be the price bracket for standard version games in the uk

Game: EA published games priced only all the rest £1 deposit

http://www.game.co.uk/en/games/new-x..._-XboxOneGames

Amazon: All games priced

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=sr_pg_...qid=1371383515

Zavvi: All games priced

Jesus, you're right, they've removed the 'prices haven't been announced yet' banner yet they're still at £55.

Uh-oh.

This is another reason i will buy 1 of the new consoles a few months after launch when everything settles down, and the **** has stopped hitting the fan.

It never stops...just sometimes it doesn't hit you

I am looking forward to buying a new console though, so hopefully things won't be too expensive.

We're still awaiting news whether digital purchases will be cheaper than buying physical, if not then I really don't know where to turn. It makes logical sense to buy a PS4 or just stick with a PC. £54.99 for FIFA, having a laugh EA, here's to Ubisoft sinking you with NEW content. I got FIFA 13 for £25 from a CD keys website last year but EA continue to charge £49 for a digital download.

Re: The Xbox One Thread

It is a shame MS didn't go region free like the PS4 then games would be cheaper like at play-asia.

If both consoles want us to embrace digital downloads then they should make digital downloads £10 cheaper than bluray discs, i think they really missed an opportunity there.

I don't know if its been posted but

Sky is reportedly considering selling the new Xbox One console alongside Sky TV subscriptions.

According to inside sources, Sky is in talks with Microsoft on deals which would see Sky customers able to opt for an Xbox One instead of getting a Sky+ HD box.

But

Update: Sadly, it's not to be. Sky has come straight out and denied that this is happening. A spokesperson said:
“We have no plans to sell Xbox hardware as part of a Sky subscription. We have a longstanding partnership with Microsoft by which we distribute our content via Sky Go and Now TV on Xbox. We look forward to continuing to work with them as part of our commitment to giving our customers more ways to watch Sky programming in addition to their Sky+ HD box."

Seems you can plug in Xbox 360 into Xbox 1 and snap it on screen while playing on Xbox One (Instead of the TV basiclly)

Those are the RRP's of all the games. Call of Duty has had an RRP of £54.99 for the last 3 years. it gets sold at £42.99 to £44.99 when it comes to release date.

The prices will come down to parity with the current gen by the time November comes.

Re: The Xbox One Thread

What are the reasons behind you guys getting the xbone as it is leaving me frustrated because of the power difference?

Is it brand loyalty?
More games that take your fancy?
You want the TV stuff?
Buying it for the controller?

Does it concern you that it is possible the games may play better on the ps4 due to the superior GPU and far faster memory or do you think there won't be any difference?
