It looks like SPL 2 by the back door. Despite the protestations I'd be surprised if this wasn't a way of getting Sevco back to the top league quicker.

Sevco aren't selling season tickets yet because they don't know what league they'll be in next season?..... yet they've nothing to do with this..... Aye sure

There might not be any teddies to invite once all the corruption comes further into the open. ;)

BBC News: Football fan dies after mid-match collapse

Quote:

A man has died in hospital after collapsing half-way through a Scottish Premier League match, police say.

The man, in his 50s, suffered a suspected heart attack five minutes into the second half of Kilmarnock's home match against Hibernian.

Paramedics and medical staff from both clubs treated the man until an ambulance arrived at Rugby Park stadium and he was taken to a nearby hospital.

Both managers agreed to abandon the match out of respect for the fan.

SPL Clubs agree change

At an all-club meeting earlier today at Hampden Park, the 12 Scottish Premier League clubs unanimously agreed on a package of measures that would deliver a merged league in time for season 2013/2014.

The principles include:

- a single merged league of 42 clubs, in line with the stated preference of SFL1 clubs
- a 12-10-10-10 divisional structure
- an all-through distribution model involving substantial redistribution to the second tier
- a ‘pyramid’ for the entire game
- play-offs involving team 11 in the SPL and teams 2, 3 and 4 in the division below

We've got one half decent side in Scotland the rest are dung, no matter how many piles you put assorted dung in they are still dung in different sized dung piles. Playoffs will add something I suppose.

I'm going to listen to Clyde 1. There was a suggestion the other night on Clyde 1 that Everton would be interested in Lennon. Salary wise he'd fight into their tight budget.

Tbh if Lenny was offered the job I think he should take it. Sadly can understand the lure of the top half of the Premiership :(

In saying that if I was looking for facts I certainly wouldn't listen to Clyde 1

When it was mentioned the other night the panel pretty much rubbished the suggestion. I was just interested to see if the point was raised again. The show however was pretty much a David Moyes love in this evening.

With Walter Smith, and then David Moyes, Everton have had Scottish managers since 1998!

I have a feeling Malky Mackay might be offered the job.

I think if Lennon is offered the job, he would be a total idiot in turning the offer down, he would probably offered double what he earns at Celtic.

Celtic could always find another mug to take over the club, that doesn't have any comp now that Rangers are not in the same league.

Honestly don't think the salary would be that much better tbh.

Of course there is still plenty of competition. Think outside the league! Rangers isn't the be all and end all of the SPL or football.

I think salary would be...but don't actually know (so speculation)

Celtic should stroll the spl, no real competition. The challenge for lennon would be to see if he can be successful in a real league like the EPL (though championship would be an equal challenge)
