the app will offer a range of alternative coverage options in line with those offered on the BBC Sport website, including the choice of matches, audio commentary options, stats and rolling highlights. Den for once I hope you are wrong & I am reading this correctly :D |

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
Thank you again, everyone for your support.
I believe that IF customers have a gripe on a service that you pay for, and if you find something on the SAME company, that is different to what has been offered to you, then that is wrong. IF you are a new customer, then you are entitled to an offer, with attachment. But, if you are a customer, that is not under contract, then you should be treated as a new contract. I have been with Sky for the past twenty years, And l only decided to obtain a Tivo (what this thread is about), after reading the VM website. VM are two faced, you speak with CS, and get told one story, and someone else tells you a different one - are they on commission ?. I will give it another week and go to a provider that treats me as a customer, and NOT as commission bait. One again members thanks for your help and support. |

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
I don't see a problem with special offers for brand new customers, which are better than current customers out of contract. After all, we were all once brand new customers and got that special offer at some time.
Where VM cause problems in my view is by giving some current customers Tivo free of charge and others have to pay for it. I understand why those who don't get it free, when others do, kick up a fuss; I would do the same if I was adding Tivo now. |

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
I apologise if this has been asked before, but something I read a number of pages back has me concerned.
I have VM for BB and Phone. BB is in the study downstairs with the Superhub. I have just negotiated with VM to put a Tivo box in for a new TV we have bought. This is in the bedroom upstairs. I am concerned that some of the comments earlier would seem to indicate that the two need to be near each other - is this the case? |
Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
No, the TiVo does not need the Superhub to work. The engineers will run a cable from the interior entry point to the where the TiVo will be going.
When/If VM introduce Multiroom Streaming, they will release details about how the devices will be connected. But as you only have 1 TiVo currently, this won't matter to you for now. I have a TiVo both upstairs and downstairs and both are connected by ethernet cable from one into my Superhub and then a Wireless Repeater Bridge upstairs is connected by ethernet cable to the other one. |
