You can't solely blame people. The online portion of the game just has too many messed up mechanics. Who in their right mind thought a built in aim bot was a good idea? Or that passive mode only protects you on foot. Those two things would solve most of the problems.

Or if people stopped behaving like idiots and just shooting anything and everything for the hell of it.

Its multiplayer, so yes I can and will blame 'people' for sucking the fun out of it.

It's a sandbox game based around murder and chaos. I think you're confusing it with animal crossing.

No not really.

If you want to sit around and just 'blow stuff up' then why not just play the single play game??

Because in today's gaming world, annoying the crap out of someone on purpose is for some people fun. I can't say I'm innocent. I've blown up tonnes of crap but also found myself annoyed and in the same boat when I'm just there for the chill.

But rather than cursing people that are never going to change, look at rockstar to provide alternatives. A lobby in which explosives are disabled? A complete passive mode lobby where you and your items are invincible to the weapons of other players.

Why should Rockstar have to make other gaming lobbies just because some people can't just behave a bit more and just try to enjoy the game.

Well why should people behave? It's not against the rules to do what they do. They're given guns and equipment to cause mayhem and it's a sandbox game. Telling people to behave themselves in a game called Grand Theft Auto is absurd. Either Rockstar does something about it or people simply aren't doing anything wrong. There's no if's or but's about it. People are enjoying the game by the means they see fit, if that's blowing stuff up and within the rules rockstar laid out then I don't see the problem.

It's like playing cod and berating people for shooting at you because you were busy enjoying the scenery.

Not at all. nothing of the sort. Also that just sounds silly.

Rockstar is under pressure to remove the bad sport feature anyway. I'm lucky enough to be in a position where I'm quite happy to shoot back if set upon, i'll let my rockets fly free and just get on with it. If someone blows up my car it costs me nothing and it's not that big of a deal. In fact it costs them 10k every time they do it, so it's more amusing.

GTAO Is still a work in progress amid a poor but acceptable start to Rockstar's online credentials. The game is certainly nowhere near where people would like it to be but it'll forever keep changing and improving based on the consumers input.

Yay! :)

I only noticed your request the other day. The Social Club website really is crap for managing that sort of thing, I would have thought I'd have had some sort of notification that someone asked to join.

Dom really gets on my wick. I long for the day when DLC is released where Trevor can torture him.

Agree with you totally there. I think I did the first jump with him, but after that I try to ignore his calls where possible.
I actually find myself doing less job based work and more races and survival games.

Either that or hunting bounties. Which reminds me of one this morning. I joined a server with only one other player. I was notified that he had a $7000 bounty on him, so I thought it'd be fun to chase him with no other competition.
As I got closer I noticed he wasn't moving, I sensed a trap, so I edged closer. Only to find him enjoying the services of a lady behind the strip club. One bullet to the head (the one I could see) I collected the bounty and drove away.

Dom phoning is far far worse than GTA IVs Roman calling to go bowling :D
