I knew Joe would get far from the very beginning!
Very happy he has won!

Now the show has finished Simon can go home and start counting his millions.

I was disappointed this year they had no Christmas songs and also that they didn't bring on the people who auditioned and were really bad and usually bring a few back for the final to sing a song. I always looked forward to that.

in a year Joe will be in panto in our local theatre and no one will care that he 'won' 2009 Xfactor.

all he won was the right to be exploited for a few months.

how many of the winners of these type of shows have actually had a career thats lasted anything more than a year?

manufactured disposable popstars for the masses.
and more money in Cowells wallet while the UK falls on its arse

Which made it a bit unfair, to be honest. Would it not have been better for a song to be tailored either for them both, or different songs, suited to their own individual styles.

In a weeks time or so we will have forgotton who they all were. I dont like the change of format that they had this year. They should have left it the way it was it was way better

I agree, having the auditions "unplugged," so to speak, meant the contestants had to work harder.

It doesn't count if it's from amazon

According to this site, RATM are #1! I expect Simon is furious considering that Joe got beat by an 18(?) yo song.

I will be so so happy if he gets beat to the race of no I.

cimt. Those are download sales only. X-Factor's main advantage was the physical disk in stores. According to some reports X-Factor took over sometime today but not by as much as they would have been hoping for and now it seems quite close. It all depends on how many people buy the track in the next couple of hours (before the chart cut-off).

RATM will finish on top of the download chart, it's just a matter of it they would have done enough to fight of the sale of the CDs. I imagine they wont but they are now 3/1 to do so, lower than any other time this week!
