i find it funny that vm can place an advert stating HD channels which include espn, channel 4 syfy and itv HD, however as you know the scottish regions can't get itv hd due to itv/stv spat.

now surely thats false advertizing?

Why is it false advertising? They usually qualify the ITV HD by adding - not available in Scotland or NI. STV are still claiming that they'll have STV HD in time for the world cup.

It does say at the bottom specifically it will not be available outside of England & Wales.
The advert is fine! :)

Even though we dont want the channel - Why not launch it on Virgin Media like Sky...Why does it have to be on a channel already available.
And isnt challenge Jackpot owned by sky now???

Re: Virgin Media Changelog

Challenge Jackpot (and the other VMtv channels) are in the process of being purchased by BSkyB, like any channel selling it's airtime - it's obviously been a tidy little profit in it!

I don't think Sky have taken operational control of the VMtv channels just yet, but when they do I'm sure they'll start implementing some changes. One change I know is coming shortly is Virgin1 changing name as Sky haven't bought a lisence to use the Virgin name...

We'll see....!
