Perhaps you should go tell mommy about what the nasty man said on an internet forum? Failing that as per homealone's suggestion use the report post feature, it's clearly marked. http://www.pinkfluffybunniesandribbons-forums.com is >>> way. |
Re: NTL price increase
/looks at my letter
My family pack + 'Sky movies collection' package, across two stb's is going up by £2, per month. It seems it is only the 'premium' pricing being changed, which is passed on from Sky, anyway - if it was a problem I would ditch the movies collection package, which would, arguably hit sky as much as NTL?? |

I do feel that there is some jangling of nerves in the upper echelons of NTL, looking at their advertisements in the press they seem rattled by something. Customers are now able to name their own price that they want to pay for services which is ok by me ;) |

While we're at it let's discuss 'excrementy' noisy lines for a moment shall we? Some of that mess is actually wanted signals! The above probably doesn't mean that much to you but it's the return path of a node on the ntl cable network, look at the difference between the noise floor and the spikes above it, that gives you an idea of the CNR, so enough of the crap about BT's noisy lines, cable has them too, and their noise tends to affect hundreds of customers, not just one. Anyway this is going off topic so I'll leave it be. Again the cable fanboys come out of the woodwork to bash the competition and ignore the proof put in front of them. Evidently we all live several KM from our exchanges at the end of horribly noisy telephone lines and that's that because jtwn the comms God says so ;) |
Re: NTL price increase
Guys, I've said this before. Please do NOT discuss the pros/cons of ADSL vs Cable in this thread. The thread is about NTL price increases.

Re: price rise
from what I can tell, these price rises are for the Sky premium channels.
|
Re: price rise
sky has recently upped thier prices for the sports and movies, hence the increase
|
Re: price rise
that makes sense now, it mentioned sky but I didnt read the letter properly. Just checked and it is due to sky and the sky sports. What a cheek!

Re: price rise
Yeah its Skys fault they keep putting up there prices, i lost count how many times they have done that in the last couple of years prob have another price rise this year
|
Re: price rise
Sky up their prices once a year!
Always have, they started off at £32 a year for their full package. but they realised by adding mainly +1 channels and a few more shopping channels that they could up their subs. Yet people moan about it but they continue to pay for it, so I guess it's a case of put up and shut up unless your going to do something about it that is. Same as every company I guess unless you cancel then the price rises will continue! |
