So the mrs can call her mum in milton keynes @ 5p for a hr instead of 3p per minute

Maybe you can, i just can't imagine them letting you have 2 different talk plans.

No the 5p talk plan would be a downgrade. You can upgrade to TU National though.

looking at it i would be better to drop the tv and phone keep the broadband and get vonage for £9.99 a month http://www.vonage.co.uk/products_premium.php

I think vonage and freetalk offer you the product on a 14 day trial so there's no harm in testing it first.

the deal for 33 quid is a good deal. for 32.99 you get talk unlimited local, base pack television and UNLIMITED 1mb BB. Recently NTL have called local within 30 miles. if your calling further away than that, then you can easily add Talk Unlimted for an extra 4 pounds. free calls up to an hour at a time to all uk land lines on 01 or 02 numbers. 36.99 is a really good deal for that.

Talk Unlimited is only £4 extra but is not calls at any time (only off-peak).
Talk Unlimited 24 is at any time but is £12.50 extra.
