There used to be loads of Elder near the river Taff, but over the years it has been "trimmed" so much that it all disappeared. Ditto the odd Sloe, but they got stripped too early each year, a pointless exercise.

Another syrup that my Nan made was Rosehip. Her pantry in late Autumn glowed with the many bottles of it she made.

In the 60s, a recipe appeared in the Echo for Boston Cream Soda. Egg white, tartaric acid and lemon juice, diluted and then bicarb added to make it fizz. Then along came the scare stories about eggs....

Pepsi Strawberries N Cream Zero Sugar..... It's so good!

I like Coke with Sugar not HFCS!! (Tastes better)

Jarritos (Cola, mandarin, lime & grapefruit)
Mirinda Orange (the stuff made for the UAE, not the EU)

An ice cold Mexican Coke made with proper sugar is an amazing thing.

Coke.....but only if mixed with Jack Daniels.
