We were worried that our recent storm would cancel the farmer's market yesterday as the Saturday market was cancelled.
But farmers are hardy folk and have stock that is prepared for that event (plus it is the last farmer's market of the year) so it was running so I did get the venison, a nice 3.8kg haunch of sika and I was only charged for 3kg. I also got some pheasant breasts, streaky bacon and wild boar burgers.
