Such a shame about the 2008 financial crash, wasn’t it? Don’t forget that when David Cameron’s government came to power immediately after the election, he put more money into the NHS which Labour claimed was ‘reckless’ in view of the financial crisis.

Labour would not have put the NHS in a better position because while it is good as spending money, it is completely incapable of controlling the budget.

If you do not believe that Covid had a devastating impact on the NHS, you are not thinking this through, are you, Den?

What’s having a devastating effect in the incompetence and inadequacy if the Conservative party. The sooner they are out the door and this great nation can get up off its knees the better.

Den's saying the rot set in before Covid, he's not disputing that made it worse. I believe he's mentioned his wife works for the NHS so he has some insights that you may not be party to.

You mean in the bad old Labour days when hospital patients were drinking out of vases and the Health Minister was more interested in hiding bad news than fixing it?

The bad old Labour days

Pick a side OB you can’t argue the NHS was AND wasn’t working before Covid. Otherwise it’s just anti-Labour vitriol and Conservative propaganda.

For someone who waxed lyrical about how we just have to believe to make things better, you aren’t giving the next Government the backing I’d have expected.

You are being ridiculous. It’s pointless debating anything with you.

Your biggest problem is you repeatedly parrot the same lines as CCHQ and Tory media outlets OB without any proof or substantiation of your increasingly wild untruthful claims.

And your biggest problem, Den, is to assume that anything coming out of the Conservative camp is a lie. Do you never stop to analyse your anti- Conservative attitude? Listen to the argument rather than obsessing on the source.

Is that the argument that’s going to get trounced at the next election? It’s not den you have to worry about it’s the voters deserting them in their droves. Millions of people up and down the country with falling living standards. Workers getting below inflation pay rises. Home owners getting rinsed by their banks. People that were supposed to be on the right side of the drawbridge when the Tories pulled it up.

Pray, tell, OB. How much do they have to lose the argument by for you to take the blinkers off and concede the shambles they are?

I don't understand why anyone who isn't a multi millionaire in pure cash has anything to do with that party, seriously what's in it for them
