Working here now.

Is it possible to get virgin email bills sent to an alternative email as that's the only reason I need my ntlworld as everything got migrated donkeys years ago?

You really should get that super old hub upgraded.

It’s just in modem mode.

Newer modems have far more downstream channels and if it's a free upgrade I'd take it.

I have just boosted my speed due to O2 and they have sent me a new on but it’s broken on arrival rattling inside. I need to call them to send a replacement

Sticking with my SH2ac, it delivers more than the the advertised speed, and they can't force VOIP onto you whilst you've got one. Not that I've ever been offered an 'upgrade'.

My @virgin.net addy is now responding and I had a load of duplicated emails plus an apology email from virgin for the problems that they are still fixing.

You can set up auto forwarding to another email address

Go to the cog wheel, click email on the left then the auto forward tab in the middle, enable it then just type in your new email address and hit apply.

As a back-up you can tick keep a copy of the message this will keep it in your VM email inbox when it forwards

I can log into virgin media using a browser and I changed my email password as suggested by VM, but email in not accessible via the browser or MS-outlook. Outlook just keeps asking for the password.

Re: Internet down

So my internet problem was they had sent me a new modem which when unboxed was broken. They then deactivated my old superhub and activated the broken hub leaving me in no man’s land. I now have to wait 3-5 days without Internet for a replacement modem. The motto of the story is please don’t activate new equipment without my thumbs up as it’s cause no end of problems.

Thank You very helpful, I've set it up but doesn't seem to forward yet unless it's just slow.

Might be Gmail blocking the forward, not got time to figure away around that.

When they sent me my Hub5 it auto activated when plugging it in, I'm surprised they won't reactivate your old modem.
