The national pixellation fault was fixed at 03:40 this morning. If you still have picture issues, these are a separate problem and need to raise with VM

I too have seen pixellation across many channels and at different times, including on recordings. I see that it is reported that the national issue was fixed early on 20 June. On the same day (evening) I watched a recording of a C5 programme made on 19 June and that had quite bad pixellation. As that recording was made before the issue was fixed, would the pixellation be retained on the recording or would the "fix" fix the recording too? I haven't yet had the chance to see any recordings made after the fix was implemented.

Pixellation will stay on the recording.

Not yet, mate, I tried on Friday but got put through to the usual overseas line, and tbh they are totally useless, I asked to be put through to someone in the UK but apparently no one was available, so I just gave up, the customer service is utter crap!

"No one available" makes a change from the usual "we aren't allowed to transfer you to the UK" which retentions have repeatedly said is rubbish.

They may say it but I don't think they are unable to transfer to UK.

I suspect there is some penalty for either the staff member or the out-sourced company if too many calls are actually directed back to the UK.

There comes a point that it isn't worth having overseas call centres if call are being pass on.

I don't have an issue with oversea call centres. I have an issue in using call centres where they staff have no hands-on experience or hands-on access.

I dont care where call centres are located, I do care that I cant understand what they say, or that they blindly follow scripts with no real ability to actually help.

They have been ringing me everyday this week becasue my contract is up soon (from a Blackburn number) and I cant understand half of what they are saying. I blocked the number after 2 days.

Has anyone else got pixelation on Sky Documentary HD, More4 HD and MTV HD?

I have found the pixelation comes and goes.

pixelation was on Sky Documentary HD at 2am on Thursday but was away by 9pm on Thursday.

No pixelation yesterday.

Woke up today and pixelation has reappear.

You have a signal fault. Those channels are all on the same frequency.

Make sure all the cable connectors are tight. You will need a technician visit if that doesn't fix it.

I feel it coming from Virgin end.

It on two boxes - all other channels are ok - Just got boxes on August 2nd - just to be on phone for over 90mins on August 3rd to get Virgin out to work on boxes again.

All work on new boxes was done by "technician".

I am really starting to think about joining Sky.

Is Virgin Media own by Disney???

I bet Animal Planet HD does it too.

Just curious: Are Quest HD and TLC HD OK?
