One thing I've just noticed on my work iPhone, the earphones and charger use the same socket. So if you're running out of power on a call tough luck ! Good excuse to curtail a boring meeting I guess :)

I think you over estimate my employers budget; wired headphones is all we get, and I'm certainly not paying for any work equipment !
