I look forward to VETOING the just passed Democrat inspired Resolution which would OPEN BORDERS while increasing Crime, Drugs, and Trafficking in our Country. I thank all of the Strong Republicans who voted to support Border Security and our desperately needed WALL!

The Resolution blocks Trump's emergency declaration - that's all.

It doesn't tear down any border fencing or dissolve the Border Patrol or change US immigration law.

How does it open borders?

Doesn't matter, he vetoes the resolution and carries on building. It needed a bigger majority to block presidential veto.
