So they did indeed show the flm uninterrupted. It was a simulcast of Sky Cinema.

I had adverts in my recording,how is that possible?

Well, it's not. Someone must have been mistaken in saying there were no commercials. Was there an ad break every 20 minutes or so through the film?

Probably more like 25mins and the breaks didn't seem that long.Cracking film btw.

There were ads, but not many and not too often. It is their business model after all

If they were trying to push Sky One as an alternative to the PSB channels they would have been able to get away with 8 minutes per hour, which is what ITV is restricted to.
