Most of the reports are from VirginMedia customers.

I swapped to Google DNS and the problems instantly stopped, so it was a VM DNS problem... again.

explains why everything was alright for me yesterday. Why were you using VM dns anyways?

I am on Virgin cable I have no problems getting into Facebook.

I use Virgins second DNS as my main and no problems for me.

exactly dude, exactly. You would have thought everyone would have learnt by now. This is at least the third time that I can remember in the last year or so that there has been a major fault which didn't affect me and each time it turned our to be Virgin's dns servers which were the issue (and in one instance went down completely for several hours).

I never use any ISP's DNS. I trust it as much as the routers/hubs they issue.:D:D:D
