So whats the point in NDA?

It makes people on the trials feel special.

Do remember VM refused to confirm, deny or discuss this thing for a while even after their parent company announced its release in the UK.

My area is deliciously congested. Make of this what you will:

Re: Just got the SuperHub 3

The SH3 should help ease the pain of congestion somewhat as it can address every channel available in a service group rather than just 8 of them.

If there's 10% bandwidth available per channel it's better to have 10, 12 or 16 x 10% than 8 x 10%.

Yeah I presumed so, but I'm only getting 8 DS channels at the moment. Hoping that it increases to the 16 (or more) whenever they deal with the congestion.

Hrm. Either there's something up at the Warrington hubsite or your local network is bandwidth limited.

2 of the 4 bits of kit VM connect you to are capable of 16+ downstreams, one does 12, another 10.

Re: Just got the SuperHub 3

We haven't even got QAM64 upstreams yet :(

Though to be fair, the upstream isn't congested, just downstream.

From that post without reading other comments i can tell you only have 8 downstreams, just like me on the SH3.

Why has VM has set both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks to use the same name, when visiting a house I have no idea which one I'm connecting to.

I changed mine to put a 5ghz and 2.5ghz at the end.

One should have the suffix "2g" the other"5g".

It doesnt, I guess I will have to "educate" every customer I visit as having the same SSID is stupid

I think you'll find that as the default for all ISP's.

My SH2 and SH2ac all had the same SSIDs, although they were both trial hubs too.

I'll define it then.

"I think you'll find that as default for all ISP's" except VM's general release of the SH2 "in my experience".
