all good points. I imagine their would be a social stigma towards people from the 20th century and their attitudes. I wouldn't mind making a short video and writing an essay before being frozen which could be stored digitally in my cryo pod explaining who I am and why I would like to be a part of the future. With regards to my knowledge and how I would catch up, you could look at it from two points of view. If we are sticking with the Star Trek universe, given the medical advances they have made in the future, I would gladly take a 10 year course/school to learn everything children do and bring myself up to scratch. The other option is consider advances in cybernetics and whether or not the technology would exist for me to simply have a data port in my neck or head where I can download information or keep it stored on something like an sd card.

Combine the above 3D mug printer with a standard coffee/tea machine...

Yeah, right.

Look at how much has change in the last 20 or 30 years. Hell, look at what's changed in the last 5 years alone. Things are getting better and more advanced, faster than before.

I wouldn't steal a car, but I'll be downloading the **** out of one soon enough.

I wouldn't 3D print a car if I were you. At least not until colour, titanium 3D printers come down below £150,000. If you were ever involved in a crash, a lump of weak, brittle plastic to protect you against the engine block of a 16 litre diesel truck is not going to end well.

Oh I know, don't you worry. I don't see any reason why 3D printers won't be capable of such things in the next couple of decades.
