Credit to Russ, fantastic post.

Media Boy, theone, howardmicks and a few others ITK on here make Cable Forum a great daily read and keep us informed as best they can as to what maybe or is coming soon to VM.

Long live Cable Forum! :cleader:

Sorry, but this is really comeplete nonsense.

To suggest that companies, usually American, would be concerned about postings on a UK forum about channels that may or may not launch is absurd.

This pretty much sums it up. I would love to think that Cable Forum had so much power we could control what Virgin Media does, but we dont, not even one small drop. We have no powers over VM at all, anyone who thinks otherwise is not living in the real world.

could it be blackmail

could it be ?

It was an Virgin Media viewer who told me that I was holding channels up - not any insiders I know.

I know who told me but I will not be posting their name online.

Commercial Decisions are based around forum tittle tattle. Yeah, Alright.

This thread needs to be locked and deleted on the grounds the subject matter is absolute **ll**ks.

It's not being obnoxious at all - does ANYONE I mean ANYONE believe that channel launches are held up because of Media Boy? REALLY I mean REALLY!? Think of the money, think of the customer acquisition opportunity by adding more channels.

"That bloke on the internet is talking about channel launches! Right that's it, No FOX+ for you lot tonight, you're way out of line!"

I would not expect you or anyone else to name /shame him but I a lil confused how would a Virgin Media viewer know or let alone accuse you of holding back the launch of any VM channels based on rumours unless the said viewer works in "THE department of soon to be released if no rumours come out VM channels".

The only sensible post I have seen here for a very long time. Get a life. boys ( & girls I guess). Do you really think that some very small cog in a VERY big m/c would be given sensitive information & the choose to "leak" it on a small forum. You are watching to many Daft TV shows if you do. Before the comments come in I love daft tv shows - just do not take them as what happens in the real world:rolleyes:
