Not sure why you've quoted me? A bridge is a menu that allows you to choose which app or stream you want to look at. The Apps will of course be in the Apps Menu aswell ;)

He also said in this blog.

I've seen the BBC News app on my Samsung TV, suffice to say it makes the existing BBC MultiScreen app look like its running on a Sinclair Spectrum:
Quote:

Of course, running that Sammy app uses my home broadband connection which is shared among other networked devices. The TiVo version of the BBC apps will of course, use that dedicated 10mb broadband connection which I've typed a lot about, but until now, feel that Virgin haven't really exploited. The BBC apps will change that.

Yes it's ok with access to video news.

We'll have to give it a miss as we forked out £99.95 for a second V+ box so no money left in the pot. Is there any chance of any of this content being available online through virgin media player or something.

There is nothing to suggest this is exclusive to Virgin, and seeing BBC are one of the drivers and content providers of Youview it's almost a guarantee a similar service will be rolled out on Youview.

Doing that would encourage a lot of non Virgin TV customers to Yourview

Well i now read The guardian fully and i think that is incorrect.

The additional video streams will only be available to Virgin Media customers who have a TiVo set-top box – a rival to BSkyB's Sky+ service that gives access to on-demand and interactive services.

That says nothing about whether they will be on YouView or not.

It's saying as a Virgin Media customer you'll need TiVo i.e. it won't be on the V+/V HD or V Box

Thanks for clarfying clarifying that.

Well Sky , Freesat will only have 5 live streams ( getting reduced to 1 after the olympics ) Freeview will only have 1 stream.
