Re: Has 2011 been the best TV year for Virgin so far?
So you would voted Yes for one channel. Very very harsh
Sky asking a high price for Sky Atlantic. Also Sky have witheld Sky Atlantic from Smallworld cable. http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...6&postcount=13 |

Sky asking a high price (according to VM)
VM want it on the cheap (according to Sky) I don't think it harsh if this one channel that shows more first run programming I want than any three others combined - in my opinion VM are not commited to providing the best drama for their customers, so I vote that 2011 has not been the best year for them. |
Re: Has 2011 been the best TV year for Virgin so far?
Can we not let this thread descend into another Sky Atlantic thread, please?

I would not say it was the Best year for Virgin Media but it was a good year.
The first 9 months of the year Virgin Media focused on TiVo and 100MB broadband. The final 3 months were best of this year because of the new HD channels , New SD channels and Sky Anytime. I think that will continue in early 2012. |

I think it possibly has so i voted yes,the arrival of sky arts HD,and sky sports Red Button*(my one real want;))sealed it in my case.
TiVo has launched successfully as well and whilst i have not yet got one i am sure at some point in the future i will ,more HD has been added in general, and virgin have got sky on demand after a wait,am really pleased with vms offerings regarding tv now,I am sure in 2012 VM wil build its TV platform up even more with new additions.:) |
