Used to rent quite a few years ago when TV's were less reliable, but with most manufacturers offering a 5 year warranty now there doesn't seem any point. A few rental companies still survive, usually by pushing the newest top range kit at the technophobes, who want to constantly upgrade to the latest model without paying the purchace price.

But you can't buy a pvr that can record $ky Movies in broadcast quality 1080i with Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound can you!

Yes because we get 3 tuners thrown in free while renting the PVR:D:D
