but it is directly relevant to taking the Tivo, as the cheapest option is to take VIP50, and thus the price of such is important to the discussion.

Sorry, was joke back to the OP's word for word comment priort.

This is an odd result, because I really doubt that over 2/3 of pre-regers would have said yes or maybe had VM offered £150 and no install fee off the bat. Assuming that voters are all pre-regers.

So with such a massive swing of votes, could this have been a marketing mega plot to make us think that £150 is a good deal for V+ to TiVo upgrade?

This sort of sleight of hand stunt gets pulled all the time in marketing, but in this case I don't think so. Looks like a genuine and most welcome u-turn. But really such a big swing?

With the votes that have been cast on the 2 polls we could have done with Peter Snow and his Swingometer :erm:

I voted 'considering it' only because I want to see the details of the e-mail including the part about "more deals around additonal outlets." Guess we might see a "Did you order TiVo?" poll once ordering has started.

Is option 4 really necessary?! Anyone who selects that has been living under a Sky-branded rock for the last 4 months!
