The tax payer is paying for secrity because of the number of high profile leaders.

I am liking your thinking - viewing figures would be through the roof.:D

Bomb the royal wedding!

Admin edit - Chris: conspiracies we can cope with, grossly offensive nonsense and incitement to perform acts of terrorism we cannot.

Goodbye.

What ever the Tax payer has to pay will be far out weighed by the money bought into the economy due to the wedding.
Bit of a boring argument really since they have always bought in more that it's cost's to run the Royal's.

I'll be watching it.. might even take a trip into London.. I was there for the Golden Jubilee and loved the atmosphere..

I'm amazed at how many people seem so grumpy about this when you're not gonna stop it so might as well enjoy the spirit of the event ;)

Well all those souvenirs of the day and event will be helping to employ someone, lots of someones and hopefully a fair few will be from this country.I get an extra holiday(and anyone who has to work will hopefully get paid a little extra for doing so) which is a good thing in my list of good and nice things that can happen this month.

In a time of cutbacks and a huge worldwide recession this is an event that can take off the edge for one short day.Why not just take it as a bonus day off and chill?
