Futurama's season numbering is very confusing. Most people are considering last summers 13 as Season 6, and this summer as season 7 - thus making the renewal equal to Season 8 & 9.

I was just about to post that. There's an excellent chance it'll be the final season I think, which is good because atleast it'd get a proper ending.
