I've done better than that. I'm being giving a loan of one for the weekend and all I have to do is put 10euro credit on it. Happy days. I dont know what speed it takes. How would I test it for the speed

Best thing to do is go into a hi speed area and try it out! ;)

Also have you checked the map to make sure you're in a hi-speed area based on the post code?

Forget the dongle if your phone supports 3G. I use Joikuspot. It's an app you install on the phone (S60 Nokia 5800 in my case) that allows it to be used as a hotspot. You have to pay (about a tenner) for the version that allows WEP between the laptop & phone.
Works a treat and if you are not on for too long, the WEP weakness isn't a problem. You also have a network meter so it should be pretty obvious if your connection has been hijacked.

I use my mobile phone (N5800) as a wifi hot spot using joikuspot to either the iTouch or laptop. Works well for me as I hate using the 5800 for net use.

My mobile phone is just a basic one so dont think I would be able to do anything for with the laptop and coverage for me.

Nice one defirish. :) Glad we won't have to deal with a jabbering wreck when you get back home. I hope you have enough time left over from your surfing to enjoy your stay at the hotel. :D

I phoned and cancelled the therapy. I might have cancelled to soon as the dongle is a bit sensitive but I shall wait and see. In case anything goes wrong keep the Water on strong Ice for me Jo. Having a great time at the hotel. Its really lovely and we just chilling at the moment :D
