Popular is one way of saying it, to the AWB members and to most of the Boer in South Africa he was more, he had an almost untouchable status, and what he said went, he 'preached' the Boer's interpretation of the Bible as if it were gospel, I've had many a 'lecture' from some of his AWB men on how I should have treat and spoken to the black lads we had working for us. And that was the beginning of the end, every country in the world has racism problems, South Africa gave theirs a name and then some. It is a 'shame' that they can't sort the country out, it could be one of the top 3 places in the world to visit / live. IMHO

Are you serious? Of course, no one as religious as he would even contemplate sexually abusing a child would they? Why would his religion stop him?

You clearly don't know the Afrikaaner/dutch reformed church then ;) One thing I will give their ministers and members is that they say what they mean and mean what they say.. Who else would introduce a whole class of restrictions for specific races all because of a couple of lines in the bible ;)
