Agreed.

Just get freeview, it will do all you want and more, will probably be cheaper to setup and like you say no danger of your drop cable going faulty or getting disconnected.

Simple,stop giving the OP a hard time as not necessary.

I read an article on this forum, that IF you don't have cable network, you can still get VM, just wondering HOW do you get it.

Through a phone line via ADSL for TV and you can get a little teeny virgin freeview box too.
