Remember the 2 minutes silence today.
The Virgin UK call centres are honouring this as well so please do not call from 3pm onwards till around 3.10pm |
Re: Hillsborough - 20th anniversary
On the pitch it's war but on the terraces it's very different. There's already a facebook group set up by Man United fans extracting the urine about the date, that's utterly shameful and disgusting.
RIP the 96. |

I've been to the memorial today to pay my respects and its been one of the most horrible days, although nowhere near what the loved ones of those had to go through. Feelings were running very high when the MP spoke on behalf of the government, and maybe GB will see now what it would mean to the loved ones to get the answers they so long for. May they rest in peace and justice finally prevail. RIP 96 loved ones. Quote:

Re: Hillsborough - 20th anniversary
I watched the video with John Aldridge and Alan Hansen then I watched the Hillsborough memorial on the History channel and found it almost unbelievable what those people went through and the mental anguish that can never truly go away.
The survivor, the father and the mother and father who in so many ways will never forgive themselves for what happened that day, then the players and even Kenny Daglish who witnessed the event and then visited the injured in hospital sometimes with tragic news to follow. Then the authorities who to this day have not faced prosecution when all evidence points to the need for a prosecution. Never forget the 96 who never returned home from a game of football. |
Re: Hillsborough - 20th anniversary
Hillsborough is a wound that won't heal until someone or something is held accountable for what happened that day it wasn't an accident it was a result of incompetence and negligence pure and simple and 96 people paid for it and hundreds will forever be scarred by it we all deserve justice.

If the video evidence went missing what hope do they have of written evidence actually existing that would point the finger at themselves. Here is an interesting PDF on the tragedy. www.hfdinfo.com/include/download8.php |
