IMO - I can’t see this browser been that efficient on lower specced computers. In addition, having individual processes for each tab may cause your whole system to slow down. - Especially if you had more than one tab processing an intensive web app.

Only time will tell I guess.

But I think it will be horses for courses type review when comparing it to other internet browsers.

I think it will make it more responsive when dealing with web applications or anything else that requires a plug-in or a ton of javascript. Also preventing the entire browser going down if flash buggers up...

Well my Money2004 needs IE as a default, but I'm interested to see how much better it works.

Ans so you should be excited - it's an awesome application, I recently had a sneak preview however I'm not allowed to tell you why or show you a screenshot.

sandboxing isn't new and really shouldn't be required and it sure as hell ain't new and 'different'

separate processes for each tab - granted thats 'new' but seems a poor fix at something that shouldn't be a problem, i've seen a whole host of problems with flash + opera on linux, none of which killed the browser

better js handling would be the JIT compiler for it? again that's being worked on with other browsers and isn't really specific to google's browser, will be interesting to see if all JS on a page is compiled which for small JS would be pointless. JS performance on large scale apps doesn't interest me one bit, i tend to use programs what they were designed for, email clients for writing emails, office apps for writing documents not a *web* browser

i would have expected more than 3 things if the browser was completely different :p:
