You too can sing the blues : Sorry mate. Anyway I think I have my own little personal battle going on with ebuyer.... http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/110379 The product title says : ' P4/k7/k8 Cooler ' ITS NOT A K7 COOLER GRRRRRRRRRR There are 2 versions of the cooler 1 is the lite version (the one they sold me) and the other has the socket A retention clip GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I should have looked at the model number but since the product title said k7 cooler I thought it was the one silly me I should have known better. |

First they kept telling me the RMA was on their old system, then they claim royal mail has lost the replacement. Well i filled in the form royal mail sent me still not heard anything, so now i'm not sure i want to deal with aria again in a hurry, pity because they were pretty good up until then. Same with eclipse computers had bad service from them on 2 occasions, haven't shopped with them since. |

<edit> I mean wall-mounting the monitor. :) </edit> I thought about getting a 22" widescreen LCD to replace my old 20" CRT, but for some weird reason LCD monitors don't seem to do 1366x768 [higher res would be too small for me, plus I run my existing 19" LCD at 1024x768], yet LCD TVs do. I did look at 22-23" LCD TVs as a possible alternative, but the price &/or power consumption put me off of the ones I could find. They arranged a free pickup and gave me a full refund ;) Pretty neat of them actually. I guess it comes down to luck the whole online buying farce. I also moaned at memorybits for sending me a broken card reader (well it was only one plastic panel that was broken ). Think I started off the mail asking them how on earth they got affiliated with google basket - that got me a free card reader heh - so now I have " 2 " card readers that I will probably never use :) |

If anyone's after an OEM system some of these Dell prices are pretty good. |
Re: Special offer hardware
ATI Radeon 4850 512mb PCI-X
PC WORLD £111.92 Excellent price if you can find one (I did but took it back) http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/sto...ory_oid=-31465 |
Re: Special offer hardware
Ermm..
I think you mean PCI-Express (or PCI-E) and not PCI-X, which is an older format: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI-X |

Pre order on play.com 4 gig of ddr II 800mhz for £12.99 . Just ordered a bit for budget builds. Not the fastest ram on the planet and I would not throw it at a high spec machine but for modest machines this is a steal |
