Re: This Country...
I will say this only once..THIS IS NOT AN EVERYDAY OCCURENCE.Please don't start imagining that every female teacher is going to be raped or is being raped..That everyday staff are physically abused because they are not.
Thus far these are isolated cases.I suspect that the NHS and the rescue services get more of this type of abuse than the teaching fraternity do. Although it may change unless a positive step is taken and more of those who do the physical abuse of staff are actually prosecuted..not every teacher does want to prosecute.A mistake in my opinion. Incog. :) |
Re: This Country...
I agree with you there. But will it come to the point where there will be a bag search everytime a pupil leaves and enters the school.
It is the same in the nursing profession, if more nurses decided to press charges, I think these people would think twice before doing it. We have even been given panic alarms incase someone kicks off. I do feel a lot safer carying one of these, but should I have to?? |

Not it is not a everyday thing however youths are everyday mugging, being arrests for GBH, stealing cars, vandalising and being a total and utter menance, forget terrorists in Afghan we have enough here, tell me how many of you would take your loved ones for a morning stroll at about 2am in your local park these days for fear of youths being about? End of the day all we are seeing is a rapid rise in violence and abuse from youths and even some adults nowadays, the police programs shown on the television shows this as well with it always having to monitor and arrest youths as young as 9 years old for serious offenses. I do not proclaim to know why this is happening all I am saying is we need to be permitted to give more discipline to our children and a society which greater rewards good behaviour and punishes bad behaviour all be it though without violence. I live in a council estate even in my new house which is under council ownership ( for now ) and I am seeing something take place years ago this estate was known around Rochdale for being the roughest of the rough and this was true, my father had very nice company cars which was always being damaged so much we bought a standard lada and used it just to get to the garage and back where we stored the car, why did this take place?? the council judged because the kids was bored and wanted something else to do. They then made some areas of land open to the youths and then they permitted them to ride there bikes on them. While the police and council check every now and then that the bikes aint nicked ( many are frankenstiens and just about run ) but yet they saw a immediate drop in crime such as street fighting, random abuse shouting, kids near me have those mini bikes and regularly goto a gravel track and have a laugh. Now we are seeing a council estate where I can take dogs out at 1am and not in fear of youths, while there true are some morons who wont learn they are so far and few between it makes for a lovely area. Perhaps not a solution but a step in the right direction is to listen to these children and teenagers find out what they want and try to come to a agreement and understand that end of they day we was children once. :) EDIT: In regard to abuse within NHS to nurses and random abuse like that from adults and youths that is when things cross the border and are very illegal and punishment is required I am not condoning such abuse and violence. |
