Im talking about NTL ripping us off by us paying ÃƒÆ’Ã†â€™ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…Â¡ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£38 or so a month and only getting potentially full speed for an hour a day. Hense placing a 1gb a day cap. If you pay for a service you should get unrestricted downloads. Its like getting Cable T.V and only being allowed to watch it one hour a day.

Yes it does, as I personally don't believe anything legal can be done to use a gig in an hour.

However, I'd gladly be corrected?

Downloading Linux ISOs (close to 3 gig I believe when I last looked), video trailers, trial versions of games. It's possible, but I certainly don't do that every day.

Someone said it was impossible to download 1gig in an hour legally. They were wrong. I listed some obvious ways. Another is streaming video for example.

And i think we have plenty of linux experts in here just incase i have problems with my install of Mandrake ;)
