I thought that you would know better Ig. It's nothing to do with uncapping the modem, it's the wireless access point. :D

Apparantly Bill C may be demonstrating one in the Trafford centre in due course and if successful he may remain there and become the first hot-spot for customers to connect to the new CenNTWest services whilst shopping. :)

I think this thread has (more than) run it's course, so unless anyone has any cast iron proof regarding Centrica/ntl, then I will be closing the thread shortly. :)

This is the closest I've got.

†œThe rapid growth we have experienced poses significant management challenges. To help us achieve our goals, we have made a number of senior management appointments during 2000. In the UK we have recruited Stephen Carter, formerly CEO of J. Walter Thompson UK Group, as Managing Director and brought in Stuart Ross from Centrica as the Group Finance Director. Nigel Roberts joined as Group Treasurer from Cable & Wireless. At NTL Europe, Bruno Claude was recruited as Managing Director from CEA Capital Advisors. We believe that their operational leadership, coupled with the hard work of our dedicated managers and associates, will drive NTL to achieve our 2001 financial targets of £2.6 billion in revenues and £385 million of EBITDA.ââ‚à ‚¬Ã‚
