Of United's players today, perhaps just one or two of the first team regulars played a full game.

a hopefully none of the team that started today will ever become 1st team players

Best reserves??? Sorry who are these reserves who weren't playing?

Why did fergie show disregard? He played a team he thought would win, he was wrong. Do you go to OT just to see the stars or do you actually go there to support your team no matter whos playing?

You have all missed the best result of the day, the Latics 1...Man City 0  :D

I was listening to Radio 5 before the kick off and they interviewed an Oldham fan, "what is your realistic ambition come 5.00 pm " the Oldham lad replied, "we get Exeter in the next round" :D :D

PS, I have to agree with Bifta, I went looking in the football thread before I spotted this one.

Fergie apologises, after the debacle against spurs in midweek and now this, he needs to get his act together, otherwise he will be out of a job.
Nobody is bigger than the club, so he needs to make good next Tuesday.
This has to be the biggest upset in his career.

Having said all of the above, well done Exeter City.

WE DREW!!!!! We haven't been beaten, yes if Exeter beat us in the replay then it will be his biggest upset.

Bury 1993 is Fergies biggest upset in the FA Cup so far, they were in D3 then.

LOL.

This is Kris Commons, age 21, left / right winger, cost 300k from Stoke City in the summer. Lifelong Forest fan as well.

the manager should put out our best teameverytime he should have a least put out half the bloody first team a given us a 1/2 decent match, he must have been the only person that thought that team was able to win the match.

I've been going to OT for over 50yrs m8 , i'm quite happy for a team to have a mixed reserve & first team but to put a out a team who where clearly no able to handle the match is not good enough.

Just checked, it was Alf Common without the s. Went to Sunderland for £1000 in 1905.

There were 5 internationals who started the game for utd!! I'm sure Fergie thought the team was more than capable to win.

You still haven't mentioned the reserve team players who should have been playing.

don't want to turn this into personal ManU discussion thread so i'll leave it here.
Beselidhja has plenty of international playing, having internationals mean nothing, as far as players that should have started althougth i would never have had the whole reserve squad on Giuseppe rossi and Tom Heaton should have played and maybe bojan Djordjic, even fergie has admitted he's cocked it up.

I hate to intrude on private grief, but he'd have to get Djordjic back from Rangers. Mind you, considering he's complete ****e, better leave him there for Celtic fans to laugh at.
