If someone attracts you because of their body or looks then you need to think about about wether you will still be attracted to them in years to come when those assets may no longer be the same.

the one thing i can say with respect, most people who are young tend to go for the looks end of the spectrum, looks as you said are there for a limited time, sure some people dont age, but its atmospherically boring, i think the way society progresses upon pressuring people about their looks and 'shape' can sometimes be all too much, then again i dont fit demographics

no one is 100%... everyone has a gripe about something, relationships are two way, somethings have to give, i see your point about the drooling being offputting, but i suppose its each to their own.

Re: what does it for you?

Strictly physically speaking, I like the face (women: long dark hair, men: short dark hair, spiked, or brush cut) and chest (women: boobies, men: muscle tone). I also like good looking feet. Nails on the toes and fingers should be clean, trimmed short (including on women, it is a huge disappointment if they have long nails), and not colored.

My physical "defect:" My nipples are kind of odd... They don't protrude, but they are rather "flat."

While I am a ''Whole'' package kind of guy, ther's nothing quite as nice as walking throught the city center, watching a tight, curvy ass (not covered by a thong). :naughty:  :devsmoke:

Re: what does it for you?

I have to admit, if I have to pick physical attributes, then I would choose boobs, face, legs, bum. However, I do find that personality is the most important thing I base my choice on (and can be the only thing).

Wierdly though, I tend to notice blonde women with big breasts (don't like breasts that are obviously fake) and nice bodies, but don't tend to go out with that sort of woman.

Re: what does it for you?

A few rules for myself:

1. Fake = bad, period.

2. C, B, A = fine. D, E, F, etc. = bad (exception: a well-proportioned girl is important: tall girl, big boobs)

3. 5", 6" = best, 7" = ok, anything over that = bad

4. Colored nails = bad. Long nails = bad.

5. Ugly feet and ugly hands is a turn-off.

and lastly, the most important one:

6. A person must have either a penis, or boobies, but not both.

Not all beautiful people are nice, but nice people are always beautiful. :)

I can't remember where I heard that but it most probably was in a film or from TV.

I agree that looks aren't everything but the one thing that really counts is sexiness. A woman can be extremely beautiful but if she doesn't stir your emotions :naughty: then what good is beauty. I think Kate Beckinsale and Kirsty Gallagher are very beautiful but I do not find them sexy and therefore not for me.

There is a girl I know who is not particularly beautiful but she has the most beautiful blue eyes and I when I look into them, well, nothing else matters, I'm hers :romance:

Re: what does it for you?

What does it for me on the inside of a girl? Well for starters she has to be demure, down-to-earth, etc. The whole shy-girl-next-door-type. I really can't stand the loud brash type. Also, she has to have a real sense of humour and be able to take a joke. She'd need to for my really warped sense of humour with relationships (If anyone wants to know what that is like, you'd have to date me first :naughty: )

Also (and I know this won't win me any fans, but anyway) I like girls to be fair. It does irk me a fair bit sometimes when when i'm with a girl who is progressive, modern, etc, but suddenly morphs into a 1940's girl when the bill comes in. Or it is her round. I mean, she ate the food too, can't she kick in something? I don't let friends leech off me, so I shouldn't let someone who is a veritable stranger shouldn't either. Also, I buy a round, can't she? You'd think she'd want to considering she would know I wern't tampering with her drink or something, all to save 2 quid a time. Even if I was asked out by a well off lady, providing she wasn't super rich from a lottery win or something, or has a real top job, i'd still kick in, that is just the way I am. You know, fairs fair.

Re: what does it for you?

I'm the opposite...

With girls I like the loud, brash type. I want a woman that can fight and beat me up. I would like to go skydiving with them.

I don't mind the fairness, but I don't require it. Although it may hurt my pocket a bit, I would not expect or force my wife or girlfriend to work. I do not expect them to pay the bills, nor do I expect them to pay for a movie ticket or the dinner. It is a guy thing.

With guys I want something similar compared to a girl. Harsh, fighter type. However, here I expect them to be fair. You buy your own movie ticket and you buy your own food. We do things 50/50 or so. I don't mind you leeching off my alcohol, provided I can do the same at another time.

It is a guy thing. :)

Well i'm tempted to say good for you, if your happy, but it doesn't really help the rest of us. I shouldn't be punished financially or in any other way because I just happen to be born a man. What's wrong with a bit of fairness and equality?

Re: what does it for you?

I voted other because, in nearly all cases you get something different that will say, yes or no and then sometimes everthing says yes, I am babbling a bit, oh well, you know what I mean things just click :D

Re: what does it for you?

To generalise wildly...

I'd expect this sort of vote to be heavily weighted towards the physical attributes for those that have never had a long term relationship.
Because you look before you buy (to use a shopping analogy) you tend to list the physical as more important, but as those who know what shopping is like.. you need to do more than just look at things before you buy, you have to find out if things fit, are as good in build quality as you thought.. etc etc.
I'm guessing therefore that those like me that voted "other" will have done so because they have a more mature outlook on what is attractive in a partner. Of course there are physical things that I enjoy about my wife, but they are secondary to her as a person.

If I had to pick something it would have to be her smile :)

i think eyes are the most important thing to me (nice blue eyes). personality is obviously important also

Re: what does it for you?

Well, I have to admit, when it comes to a date, while I like a girl to offer to pay, more often than not, I'll pay for everything myself.

Occasionally, I will let a girl pay for everything (actually, with my first girlfriend, I didn't get a choice. She just paid for everything), but I do this rarely.

I think thats true. You meet nice people and dont realise straight away that you love them and then you fall in love and you love everything about them and the nice person is beautiful. Its everything about them that is just so nice.
