Ah, you should. Everyone should. It's trippy. Like 'Amplitude' meets 'Barberella' with the actors from 'Days Of Our Lives'.:p:

And it's a solid rhthym action game to boot. I just wish the sequel had been released properly so it didn't cost £75 second hand.:disturbd:

Hold your horses, obviousley I get the Beach Boys clue but please explain the Bob Monkhouse reference as that was the reason for my rather inept Thunder Birds answer.

Re: whats this screenshot from?

Bob Monkhouse hosted a great daytime quiz show called 'Wipeout' in the 90s. Now can you can explain to me how you get from Bob Monkhouse to 'Thunderbirds' because I'm stumped!

Off course he did. Bob Monkhouse voiced the parts of a couple of guest characters in the mid sixties.

Redshift was quite a bit different to Wipeout. Much more open levels, multiple routes. The style was a lot less 'clubbing' too. Great to play. I preferred Wipeout though. Would love to see a next gen version of Wipeout. There was only Fusion and Redshift released this gen. And they were both flawed. The best version out there seems to be Pure and that has some framerate issues. When we gonna see Wipeout done proper and online eh?

Yeah, the file name was shadowofthecolossus/ico.jpg. I'm assuming it was part of a review for SOTC showing Ico as the previous game. It was funny mainly because I posted Ico as the game before last. ;)

Re: whats this screenshot from?

A clue.......

Taken from 'Crash' magazine

Sandy White is a quiet Scot and a sculptor by trade. His understanding of three dimensional construction is evident in his game, ******. Unveiled at the Quicksilva press show, it raised admiring oohs and ahs from the gathering. According to the press release, Quicksilva was so impressed by the stunning quality of the graphics, that they flew Sandy down from Scotland and signed a contract within 24 hours. A patent has been applied for to protect his 3D soft solid routines.

Quite simply, ******** contains the most breathtaking 3D graphics yet seen on the Spectrum (big clue); as one of our reviewers pointed out, very similar to Zaxxon graphics, and quite as good as you can see in an arcade.

Haha, How times change eh.

Peanut's right. It's from Tomy's 3D Sky Attack - which was pretty obviously based on the film Tron.

https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/local/2006/05/5.jpg

I had the 'Thundering Turbo' one. I wanted 'Sky Attack' but it was sold out and I got given 'Alien Attack' instead which turned out to be much better but not as cool.
