Sunderland players seem a bit upset, while their fans are doing their impression of Spurs and West Ham fans by leaving early.

Re: Season 2025/2026

5-0 was pretty amazing against a side who had been doing well, I guess Forest took their foot off a bit in the 2nd half and didn't want to go for about 8 or 9.

Let's hope Cunha's shoulder isn't too serious with Murillo also out

Day out to watch my 2nd team today
A 3- 0 win that got them promoted, and a good chance of taking the division title. :)

20 years ago vs Barca, Arsenal went to a champions league final.

Re: Season 2025/2026

Strange times. It’s still mathematically possible that the potential winner of either the Europa Cup (Forest) or the Conference League (Palace) could be relegated while qualifying to compete in Europe next season.

Paul 05-05-2026 22:34

Re: Season 2025/2026

Its also likely now that all three european finals will have one premier league team in them, so we could do a clean sweep of europe if we win them.

Mathematically but I think both sides are basically safe.

Spurs are doing better at the moment and West Ham's form isn't bad but Forest are 6 points clear of West Ham and 5 points clear of Spurs with 3 to go. So Forest need to lose all 3 (because of GD) and then Spurs need 2 wins (at least) and West Ham need 2 wins and a draw (at least) for them to both go above anyone else...

That's down to Palace then with Arsenal through and either Villa or Forest making it.

Indeed, and they are already 3 - 1 up from their first (away) leg, so its seeming likely.

Tbf a PL side should pretty much always win the Conference League if they take it seriously enough. Mind you Chelsea managed that with a whole different squad basically last time around (and probably a few hotels).

Well I can understand Boro fans being happy, but it seems a little extreme to me.

Going to be interesting to sort tickets and transport out in 3 days (and they can appeal as well).

Oh it will be interesting. If they win that appeal then I bet Hotels will be even more expensive. You have 3 sets of fans looking at booking for one game.

The rule change came because Leeds did that though

At least anyone watching the playoff now won’t have to endure the theatrics and constant diving from certain Southampton players, such as Scienza.

If it was a one-off then maybe extreme. But it turns out it was the third time this season!

Pretty meaningless the Premiership whoever wins.
Fans, owners and players that have no links the cities( or should that be brand names), they represent.

Now the Northern Counties East League is far more meaningful, cheaper and entertaining ;)

The drop off since winning the league was so bad. Politics in the club amongst players so bad. New signing can't be his fault but again so bad.

I hope he does well. An interesting factor is Liverpools new man doesn't handle transfers which is a directors dream. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on. Klopps team wins a premier league. Slots team wins...

Yes, like that really worked out well when Edu took charge of signings at Forest, and totally ignored what the coach needed to suit the style of play he wanted from the team.

Edus catch phrase was "tell me the situation of x,y,z player" he didn't have a clue to begin with and resorted to home comforts. Fraud. Competent at the BBQ grill otherwise useless. The guys a showman, shyster who allegedly pocketed from transfers, like Sanllehi. Joke appointment Ivan, those two disasters.
