Just because it's that way in those leagues doesn't mean ours has to be the same and the big difference in both those leagues is that the clubs are owned by the fans, with the new epl ffp rules why do clubs even need owners

We don't seem to have the type of tight and clever defence's that used to be present as there were with Arsenal - AC Milan - Man Utd and Liverpool in the old days.

It's going to be two crossed hammers with 1895 at the top in between them and London at the bottom. Obviously the couldn't put east London as it'd confuse foreigners, West ham in east London, still as far as cynical marketing ploys go this is far from the worse, the consultation amongst fans is ongoing.

In other news hammers have agreed terms and medical with nice left back Timothee kolodzkichec, just need to agree the fee now with the club which will probably be around 5 million.

Who have Nike helped United sign? I haven't seen sponsors sign players or even pony up additional cash on top of what they did for the contract. I think their thinking is that they already paid their money and now it's time for Arsenal to hit performance targets.

Why didn't Nike help us before? Why would Puma be different? Wouldn't Liverpool's sponsor also help out if this is the why things worked? I haven't seen this theory outside of Twitter....

---------- Post added at 22:37 ---------- Previous post was at 22:34 ----------

PS I do think any official unveiling will wait until the new kit is out. Puma don't want players holding up old Nike kits but I don't think they'll have a influence or role in the signing.

West Ham confirm signing of Aaron Cresswell from Ipswich.

http://www.theguardian.com/football/...st-ham-ipswich

Great, we have signed a left back who gets caught out positionally frequently in the championship for up to seven million quid and drop kolo who is potentially the next bale because the fee might have gone up to nine million, we will be kicking ourselves if we don't go back in for him.

Marko vucanic has gone to the UAE, what a waste.

Gus Poyet's son has signed for the hammers

Really?

All bids rejected thus far.

Even Liverhampton fans are complaining about the amounts the club are prepared to pay Southampton. :erm:

Some reports suggesting Alexis Sanchez may be included in the Suarez deal. So @LFC fans - £63m plus Sanchez a good deal?

there are other well placed sources that would be all over it if there was any indication Sanchez agreed to a move to Liverpool.

Best not to believe anything written, until the deal is actually done

though if that deal was true, Liverpool would bite their hand for it, never mind suarez :D

The most reliable Journo on Arsenal has spoken:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28177987

Quote:

Arsenal are in talks to sign Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez and Newcastle right-back Mathieu Debuchy.

Their move for 28-year-old France international Debuchy is at an advanced stage but the clubs are yet to agree a fee, with Newcastle understood to be seeking a figure in the region of £10m.

The Gunners' bid for Sanchez is complicated by Barcelona's pursuit of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

Barca are reportedly seeking a fee of at least £25m for the Chile striker.

And although the Gunners have been given indications that Sanchez would favour a move to Emirates Stadium, nothing will be resolved until the Suarez situation is concluded.

Selling Negredo would be a mistake. Toures position isn't that of one Sanchez would play in.

Negredo possibly.

i don't think they will act just for that reason. If they lose a striker (I mention negredo, as rumours mention him), then they would want a comparable striker.

Equally, they won't sell, unless it suits them.

Man City will have to sell Negredo and Dzeko.

Man City will have to sell Negredo and Dzeko.

There are many clubs bidding for the top players so competition is extremely fierce in the process thus nothing is never as cut and dried as supporters think sometimes.

Sanchez wants an Arsenal move.

Reports in Spain say Barcelona want 35m. BBC say 25m.
