Whats Eastenders, Honestly i have never lowered myself to watch it :)

Only reason i watched Ross Kemp was to check it was working on my TV. Considering i have no red button or reminders on my tivo i was hoping this would work.

showcase is now on catch up on demand and more on demand but when I press select I get (Sorry, there aren't any programmes of this type right now.)

I'm not sure that's Sky's showcase, I'm fairly certain showcase has been an option on that menu for a while-may be wrong.

If I remember correctly, showcase was a file for advertisements from disney for there theme parks, sort of mini documentaries.

Possibly , showcase on Sky is updated daily at the moment it contains a few Movies , some Sky 1 Shows , Super league grand final , some boxing fight , Football international goals roundup , tribute to Steve Jobs (Sky news) plus more.

I actually know what they mean. But they are assuming that all forum members are VM customers.

If they are Virgin customers then they are not Sky customers. It's Virgin who buy the services off Sky. It is then Virgin who have the contract with their customers, and not Sky.

Resetting the box will make no difference. You need to wait for the servers in your local headend to receive the content.

The content needs copying to the servers in every region. It takes time, and doesn't reach every region at the same time.

Don't phone. There is nothing they could do. Be patient and it will arrive.

This is why it's called a 'Soft Launch'. This is a significant increase in the amount of OD content available in one go so will take a while to arrive for everyone

The Sky site (http://tinyurl.com/6gfa89n and the equivalents for different genres), shows what looks like several hundred hours worth, certainly dozens and dozens of individual "items".

I probably know the answer, but VM OnDemand will eventually have the same content as any Sky box will list? In which case... I can totally understand this wee collection will take a while to upload...

Catch Up and More on demand: showcase folder which i havent access to yet

Movies On Demand: Sky Movies: 20 films

TV Choice: Sky anytime: sky1 4 shows totalling 20 episodes, sky living 23 shows, sky arts 1 show.
