If Camping had directly incited people to commit suicide then just maybe ... but I dont think he did. There has to come a point where we accept that individuals are responsible for what they believe and for what they do as a result.

I think the saddest thing about all this is that there are people who do take him seriously and what he says has consequences that he doesn't have to be responsible for. Don't get me wrong i am all for personal responsibility but certain types of religion has a habit at times of blurring that line where faith is so strong that common sense seems to go out the window.
