Mouse without borders.

TCP/IP Mouse/Keyboard sharing for Windows ...

"In a nutshell, it allows you to reach across your PC's as if they were part of one single desktop. I have two PCs on my desk at work connected to 3 LCD screens and using Mouse Without Borders I can move my mouse between the 3 screens, even though one of them is attached to a different PC from the other two. What’s more, I can move files between the 2 computers simply by dragging them from one desktop to another."

Re: Freeware Alternative Software List

Interesting find. This has been possible with various open source and free programs for a decade, but it's nice to see Microsoft make an effort.

I do wonder what the advantages might be and whether they did much to implement low-level integration with Windows.

Re: Freeware Alternative Software List

Remembering my office days of attaching files to emails just to send them to the person at the next desk, this seems a simpler and more elegant solution. It may not cause a desktop revolution, but not everything has to. Every little thing that makes using the computer that little bit easier is a help.

Anyone know of a free desktop publisher they can recommend? I did have Serif Page Plus SE but I had to uninstall because it became corrupt and the new download of it appears to have some kind of virus. :)

If you like Photoshop but would like a freebie alternative, check out Photo Pea.
It runs in your Internet Browser so no need to install anything and will open and save to various formats including Photoshop PSD.
Very useful.

I've just used PhotoPea by loading the page and then disabled my Internet connection for half an hour and was able to load and save images without issues.
