Don't get too down :(

Just celebrate Pi day...........:)

March 14th (3.14) is https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2011/03/62.gif day and all around the world mathematicians are celebrating this compelling and mysterious constant of Nature. Pi appears in equations describing the orbits of planets, the colors of auroras, the structure of DNA. It's everywhere. :D:D:D:D

Not at the moment for some:

Lent in 2011 will start on Wednesday, the 9th of March and will continue for 46 days until Saturday, the 23rd of April.

But I am having a pie tonight;)

I would not think that it matters as if the downloads are the same as all the other boxes, it will do them whether it is on or in standby.

I would assume it will ONLY do it if the box is on standby. They wouldn't end your viewing or cut off a program to update it.

code downloads are done in the early hours, usually 5am. Just make sure the box has power, we'll do the rest ;)

The box will update whether on or in standby. VM usually drop code during early morning so not as to disrupt viewing.

I would guess most users never use standy, I never have.

Has anyone checked if the power use is significantly different in standby ? If not I'll get my monitor out.
