I recon they have Sky Atlantic lined up if they can't come to a deal to get BT Sports in the XL pack. They probably don't have enough money for both, so don't want to announce Sky Atlantic if there is still a chance they could get BT Sports in the XL Pack.

Interesting. For all we know, they could be putting everything into place. We can always hope.

Have fun. Just hope Sesame Street isn't brought to you by the letters 'B' and 'T'. It would be a bit too soon. :)

No, I am not accusing him of lying.

What I am saying is, is there any evidence of his insiders, as generally I don't believe people when they say they have 'inside info' as a rule.

It's not hard to understand.

If there is, and he is right most of the time like you say, then fair enough.

You are unlikely to be able to obtain evidence for something that, by it's very nature, is obtained on a nod and a wink basis.

If this means that you wish to discount the information put forward (which you are perfectly entitled to do) then so be it.

Indeed but the thing is Sirius they have had months to sort this out and again failed to come up with the goods and you can't blame the often nefarious Sky for that.

Negotiations often involve both parties using different methods for different (often hidden) agendas.

In this case it appears that each party thought that the other would concede just before the launch date.

So now when they say 'talks are ongoing' they are actually not?

Yer correct,I have just run retentions and was told if you ain't happy leave,I replied great customer service and the response was well we are getting sick of customers moaning.slammed the phone down.mailed CEOs office and just in a q to speak to sky[/QUOTE]

Absolutely disgraceful, it amazes me that some employees seem not to have noticed the current economic climate and high level of unemployment.

I say well done, management can only weed out rougue employees (who have the capacity to spoil things for everybody else) if people take the time to alert them to poor service, inappropriate remarks, bad attitude etc.

Absolutely spot on.

That page has been there for about a month and a half.

Doesn't really mean anything is happening.

tbf, we are assuming what is being reported of the conversation is verbatim/accurate, rather than a one-sided view of a conversation which did not result in the outcome the caller desired.

It seems the headlines from the Liberty Global results are a loss, and growth for Virgin Media has stalled. It must be more vital than ever to prevent churn.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.

As suggested I emailed the ceo's office to complain about the lack of Sky Atlantic and BT Sports and also the lack of communication to customers. I got a quick email reply, and then a phone call about three hours later. I have seen it suggested that the talks between BT/Sky had been broken off but the lady I spoke to said this was not the case, and that they were quite confident of getting the channels but obviously could not say when. She said that as soon as an agreement was reached it would be immediately relayed to all customers. It sounded hopeful, but then it could be a bit of wishful thinking trying to maintain their customer base.

You would certainly think so bud,I know at least 3 people who cancelled there services yesterday I know that doesn't sound so bad when they have 4million+ customers but that's just people I know and so far and if reading comments on Facebook vm page there are certainly a lot threatening/leaving.
