What I have noticed is quite a lot of the ID programmes are being shown on VM's lifestyle channel Discovery RT.
Hopefully a sign of things to come?

Programmes such as =

On the Case with Paula Zahn
I (Almost) got away with it
True Crime With Aphrodite Jones
Who the (Hell) Did I Marry
Couples Who Kill
48 Hours
The Real NCIS
The Will
I Married A Mobster(which is on tonight btw)
etc etc.

The above programmes/shows are just a few of what the ID channel has to offer and for a crime show fan like myself I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that eventually it will be shown on VM.

Some of these are on the Crime channel 48hrs the new series is airing at the moment.

Yes thanks noel43 I've got The First 48hrs on record from the start last week via the series link. There's also the CBS reality channel that shows a few crime programmes such as = Unsolved Mysteries - Medical Detectives - 48 Hours: Hard Evidence - Forensic Investigators and 48 Hours Mystery that I watch. But I'd still welcome the Investigation Discovery channel because I'm a big fan of crime programmes/shows. I know there's plenty to watch with what I've mentioned above and also the C+I channel but that's what the TiVo's and V+Boxes are for.

After my dizzy blonde moment earlier (see huge Homer above) can confirm my Tivo has been updated without incident here in Nottingham and I've finally have been able to knock off the PIN protection when watching recordings made after 9pm, always a bugbear.

Not had a chance to check the rest as yet.

Sky have:

History Channel HD, Crime and Investigation HD, Bio Hd, Sky Sports HD3/4, Sky Sports News HD, Sky News HD, Sky Atlantic, Sky Atlantic HD, ITV 2/3/4 HD, ESPN America HD, Premier Sports, Premier Sports Xtra, Boxnation, Sky 3D, Universal Channel HD, Investigation Discovery, Al Jazeera, CBS Drama and CBS Action

Those channels intrest me (and a lot of people on this forum) and should be on virgin media!

Of course some of us would like these extra channels but not at the expense of adding £40 to our bills each month.

Unless Alan is willing to pay millions for his own personal cable TV service, the real question is how many other people are willing to pay for them.

For the channels mentioned l would pay £2 to £3 more on my monthly bill and not much more and if people wanted channels like Boxnation and Premier Sports then they can subscribe to them seperately.
