What I am really looking for is this. Sorry if its a bit long.
On BBC2 Wales we get live rugby with in that show is the red button which offers Welsh language, A talk show type comments & some times the refs mike. Will it deliver that sort of thing ?

But other than that a great step forward thank you BBC,well its nothing to do with Virgin is it:shocked:

Arthur I got the same deal on install etc from retentions - by saying that I had seen the "Free" offer for new customers. I was told that as I had mentioned it and ONLY because I had,I could have it:) Hope this helps

There are still many things that l suspect will be added as this is just the start process of the BBC Apps.

What you mentioned is certainly not on there currently Itshim.

In fairness, I haven't been bothered about lack of red button, if I was I'd not have got a TiVo, but what's arrived looks pretty good and it's just in time for the Beeb's first live Grand Prix of the season, very much looking forward to the weekend!

Cant really tell until the live rugby program is on. I cant see why not though, as full coverage of the practice sessions of the Chinese F1 Grand Prix will be on the red button.

regards

John

Personally I'd use the red button app before making such a statement ;)

When there is extra content available, I'm sure we'll get access as it has the BBC Bridge on the BBC channels

I was asking a question not making any statement & yes you are quite right. Wait until the show is on & run up and down stairs to check:D

To all members that have helped me l thank you.

We told VM that we were changing over to VM fully from Sky, we spoke with retentions, and they said that we were not until contract, even though we have been with VM since the start.

They told us that WE would still have to pay £49.95 for the Tivo box, and everything that has been stated on this forum of getting deals with FREE Install, and Activation, we have tried to get this and also a new contract, but the won't budge.

I cannot understand why some customers get it and we cannot, total appalling service from VM. My wife has said it could be because l am complaining to much on this forum, but to me we are prepared to pay the £90.00 per month for XL, but if some customers get the tivo FREE, why can't we.

Are you ever happy??

Also why are you posting this/hijacking another thread, when you have been given answers previously?

Again this forum has nothing to do with VM.

I am sure Arthur can defend himself . How ever he is in a loose way writing about TiVo, so I feel it fits in to this thread .
I read it as a thank you, something sometimes missing around here:(

I understand that this Forum has nothing to do with VM on the face of it:shocked: However I suspect that matters mentioned here do go back to them. Perhaps its my paranoia surfacing again. As I say ( a lot) Just because you are paranoid it does not mean "they" are not after you :D

If VM treated all customers the same, these issues wouldn't arise. If they publicise that existing customers pay for tivo, they should do it for all customers. If they don't, which apparently is the case, then don't complain when custmers feel agrieved by dual standards from VM take to the forums to complain about it.
