Personally, since the introduction of the modem mode for the SuperHub, I'm not aware of any that would cause Virgin to allow an exception and let someone use a VMNG300 modem with 100Mbit |
Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
I can't say what I would find wrong with the Superhub as I've never used one. There are still plenty of people who object to it, on the basis of e.g. power consumption, layout, extreme light brightness, etc. Modem mode is not the only reason people wanted a VMNG300 over a Superhub, and all I'm saying further faults with the SH may come up in future and given exceptions have been made in the past and continue to be made, I see no reason to say they will never be made again.

But anyway, Virgin will let customers know if they need an equipment upgrade to get the speed increase |

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
Just to clarify thats existing 100Mbit customers that'll be getting a price reduction, not the 50Mbit customers increased to 100Mbit

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
BenMcr - as a 10mb L customer can I still get a 20mb upgrade instead of getting 30mb and having to pay the £30 activation fee for a superhub
