NBC Universal shows coming to Virgin Media TV On Demand in HD
Virgin Media today announced a deal with NBC Universal International Television Distribution for the video-on-demand rights in the UK to a broad selection of NBC Universal series. Under the terms of the agreement, these titles will be offered as new content across Virgin Media’s three entertainment platforms; TV, online and mobile. The info I have says Sky Atlantic (Not in HD) will be on Virgin Media. The only exclusive I see is the HBO Shows.

Read the press release this DS article is taken from and see if you can see the phrase "exclusive to/on Sky" anywhere.
http://corporate.sky.com/media/press...ed_line_up.htm and then see if you can see it on the original press release announcing the channel. http://corporate.sky.com/media/press...y_atlantic.htm Whilst I doubt we'll get it in HD, I can't see the reason why we won't get the SD version. Sky customers will be happy with the HD exclusive, advertisers will be satisfied with the same exposure they get with the rest of the Sky channels. I'm sorry, I wouldn't trust a DS article to confirm today's date, never mind the future carriage details of a television channel. |
